His Voice Today
Today, if you hear His voice… Psalm 95:7
Hearing the voice of God was never intended to be a sporadic, random, nor infrequent occasion. God is always speaking, and He intends for you today and every day to hear His voice clearly.
Today is an altogether appropriate word. God’s voice creates an immediacy every time He speaks, and His voice immediately calls us into accountability. As thankful as we are for the words God has spoken to us in the past, we want to stay current with what God is saying to us today. As you prepare to step into the New Year, take time to hear His voice. Pause. Listen. Linger.
God is now, and His word comes to you today. Hear His voice today. Obey today. Encounter God today. There is nothing more timely, more vibrant than a fresh word from God.
Father God, open my ears that I might hear Your word to me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
