Open Heaven
Suddenly there were with the angel a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God. Luke 2:13
It is only appropriate that when Jesus was born, all heaven would be opened and burst forth in praise and celebration. Heaven was unable to contain itself, and the celebration happening in heaven spilled over into earth. The blue collar working, unshaven shepherds were called up into heaven’s party. Glory to God in the highest! the angels shouted. Thousands of angels were cheering in full voice as the shepherds stood gazing with their mouths hanging open in wonder. This is a biblical example of both “high worship” and an “open heaven.”
Our God is a self-revealing God, and He loves to manifest His presence to His people. He is also a world-class worship leader who leads us in relevant God-encountering worship. He is ready to lead you today in high worship under an open heaven.
Father God, I do stand in awe of Your salvation in Christ. You have opened heaven to us, and I declare Your salvation.
