I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God. Luke 1:19
Imagine meeting an angel eyeball-to-eyeball—an angel who spends all his time in the manifest presence of God.
One day, Angel Gabriel went on assignment from the presence of God to visit Zechariah, the priest with the incredible announcement that the priest’s wife, Elizabeth, would miraculously become pregnant and that the boy’s name would be John and he would serve as a forerunner to the Messiah. The angel then went on to announce to Mary that she, too, would become miraculously pregnant. Gabriel went from the manifest presence of God to tell about the coming of the manifest presence of God. Those who live in the manifest presence are best equipped to tell others about the manifest presence.
Do you live in the presence? God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, so that He would make it possible for you to access God’s presence continually.
Father God, I thank You for Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has opened up to me continual access to Your presence.
