The Word became flesh… John 1:14
Merry Christmas from your College of Prayer family!
Christ is the manifest presence of God. There is no better day to celebrate His presence than Christmas day. The only way to encounter God’s expressed and tangible presence is to encounter Him in Christ. For this reason, Jesus said, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father,” and “I and my Father are one” (John 14:9,10). And for this reason, it was written of Christ, “The Word became flesh”.
All over the world today, believers are celebrating the historic, miraculous moment of the incarnation—that the external God became human and was born, fully God and fully man. As you celebrate this miracle—that Christ manifested the presence of God 2,000 years ago—take time, as well, to encounter God’s manifest presence in Christ today. Only Christ can put the “merry” in your Christmas.
Lord Jesus Christ, I celebrate Your incarnation by lingering today in Your manifest presence. You have given me the greatest gift of all—the gift of Your presence.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world country and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Colorado.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
