Our Christ-Encountering Belt
Our Christ-Encountering Belt
Stand, therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth. Ephesians 6:14
When you put on the belt of truth today, be sure to encounter Christ in the process. Millions of believers put on the armor of God every day. This is a life-giving discipline. Don’t ever allow it, however, to become a mindless discipline.
Standing our ground having been fully clothed in the armor of God against the enemy is part of our nobility as followers of Christ, and it starts with the belt of truth, or we might say, the belt of integrity. It is, after all, the truth that sets us free (John 8:32). Because the devil is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), it is absolutely essential when we confront our enemy that we do so in truth. Be real. Be humble. Be honest. Be transparent when you pray and when you stand your ground against the schemes of the enemy.
When you stand against the enemy today, don’t play mind games. Don’t be mentally lazy. Be sober. Be vigilant. Be bold. Be truthful.
Father God, today I put on around my waist the belt of integrity—I put on Jesus Christ, the Truthful One, as I submit myself to Christ and stand against the evil one.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world country and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Idaho.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
