Chosen to Draw Near

Chosen to Draw Near

Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts. Psalm 65:4

If you have set your sights on the manifest presence of Christ, one of the first sins God will deal within your own soul is the sin of iniquity, or treating as common the holy things of God. This is one sin God will not tolerate, nor should He.

Do you value the manifest presence of Christ? Do you value the fact that you were chosen to draw near to His presence and to dwell in His courts?

David was a man after God’s own heart. He recognized the blessing that was on his life to be chosen as one who would be brought near to the manifest presence of God.

As you learn to value above all things the manifest presence of Christ, God will teach you to distinguish between the common and the holy things of God.

Father God, deliver me from the disgusting sin of irreverence that I might attribute appropriate value to Your presence. Give me, as well, a growing distaste for sin.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world country and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Kansas.

This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
