Lift Up the Gates
Lift Up the Gates
Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Psalm 24:7
We are all gate keepers—gate keepers over our minds, our bodies, our souls, our hearts, our families, our names, our jobs, community, and local church. A gate represents a sphere of influence and a gatekeeper has authority over a particular sphere of influence.
There is no higher honor as gate keepers than to exercise our rightful authority and call for the removal of hindrances so that the manifest presence of Christ might come in. What an honor. What a privilege.
This privilege is yours. As a person of influence, God has assigned to you the distinct honor of not only exercising delegated authority, but to use that authority ultimately to welcome the manifest presence of Christ. Now, gatekeeper, swing wide your gates and welcome the King of Glory!
Yes, Father, today I cry out to the gates of life—be lifted up that the King of Glory may come in.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Monaco and South Dakota.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
