Hearing 101
Hearing 101
You have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8:15-16
Every child of God can hear the voice of God. It’s simple! When we initially respond to the Holy Spirit and cry out, “Daddy! Papa! Father!”, it is God’s Spirit talking to our human spirit, convincing us that we are His child. If you want to learn to consistently hear God’s voice, this is where you start. This is Hearing 101.
This pattern of God’s Spirit telling us that we can call God “Daddy” is not a one time, when-you-first-get-saved experience; it is an ongoing pattern that continues daily. Just as when you live with someone and daily encounter them, you greet them by name, so in Christ you continuously encounter your loving Father, and the Holy Spirit prompts you to say “Daddy! Papa! Abba Father!”
Don’t take for granted the little things.
Loving Daddy, I run into Your arms with child-like spontaneity. I love sitting in Your lap, looking into Your face, and enjoying Your presence. It’s the highlight of my day.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Kentucky.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
