Fear Not
Fear Not
Fear not; I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. Revelation 1:17-18
Fear is often the natural response when you encounter the manifest presence of Christ because you are encountering the unknown. Even the Apostle John, who arguably knew Christ better than any person on earth, feared for his life when he encountered the ascended, exalted, and glorified Christ. Too often, our worship is too tame, predictable, and non-threatening. God wants your Christ-encountering worship to sometimes shake you to the core.
When was the last time God shocked you, took your breath away, or left you with your jaw dropped and eyes wide open in wonder? Maybe today. Maybe now.
Lord Jesus, exalted Christ, encounter me today with jaw-dropping, eye-filled wonder in Your ferocious presence.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Liechtenstein and Kansas.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
