Win Today
Win Today
Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever. 2 Chronicles 20:21
Every morning when you get out of bed, no matter what else you will face that day, your two most significant battles are these: 1) Will you praise the Lord? 2) Will you encounter the steadfast love of God? If you can win these two battles, you can win every other issue you face.
When Jehoshaphat was king of Israel and the nation was surrounded by foreign armies, the nation cried out to God, and the Word of the Lord to them was quite simple—Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever. Rather than sending swords and spears and warriors into battle, they sent their worship choir. Instead of a war sound, they simply declared Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever. That day, God won Israel’s battle, and His people never lifted a sword.
No matter what battle you are facing today, the first two battles you must win are simple-- Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever.
Loving Father, I declare this day, Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever. I do choose to praise You, and I keep my heart in Your love.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Monaco and Illinois.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
