He Loved First

We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Let’s not make prayer too complicated.

The greatest commandment is love. God is love. What motivates all true prayer is love. Since we love because He first loved us, there is nothing more important for you to do everyday in prayer than to receive a fresh encounter with His love. For this reason, Jesus began His model prayer pattern, Our Father in heaven.

Take time right now to receive in prayer a fresh encounter with the love of Christ.

Father God, today I drink up Your love. Press Your love into my life on every level and fill me to overflowing with Your love everlasting.
