Made for the Fire
Made for the Fire
“On turning I saw seven golden lampstands, And in the midst of the lampstands One like the Son of Man.” Revelation 1:12-13
The Apostle John met God in the fire.
He was serving as a political prisoner of Rome on the Mediterranean island of Patmos when he saw the exalted Christ. His Lord was on fire from head to toe. Christ’s eyes were like flames of fire, His feet glowed like molten metal in a furnace, and His face shown like the sun in all its brilliance. In Christ’s right hand were seven balls of fire, and He was walking among seven flame holders.
When John saw the manifest presence of Christ he fell on his face like a dead man. He was comatose, unable to move.
Today, Christ is still on fire because Christ is the manifest presence of God.
The Apostle John was made for the fire, and so were you. Embrace Christ today in all the raging inferno of His glorious presence.
God, You are consuming fire. I embrace Your fire, and I embrace the reality that I was made to live in the fire of Your manifest presence.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Mauritius and Kentucky.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
