Fire Starter

Fire Starter

“Do not put out the Spirit-fire.” 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (NIV 1984)

It is not your responsibility to set yourself on fire for God; that’s God’s job! The Holy Spirit is a skilled Fire-starter—not with a physical fire that kills and destroys, but with an internal Spirit-fire that purifies, empowers, and mobilizes.

When the Apostle Paul exhorts you to never take a fire extinguisher to the internal, fire-starting work of the Holy Spirit, He gives you much more than good advice; He gives a revelation. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire shows you an essential Holy Spirit M.O.—mode of operation.  The Holy Spirit alone sets you on fire and continually manifests the presence of Christ to you and through you.

Every day the indwelling Holy Spirit will reveal Christ to you and through you as long as you do not hinder Him.

Welcome the flaming presence of Christ in the fullness of the Holy Spirit today.

Come, Holy Spirit. Ignite Your fire in me—the fire of the manifest presence of Christ. Reveal Christ to me today, and reveal Christ through me. I renounce all my fire-extinguisher instincts. Set me ablaze in Your presence.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Austria and Iowa.

This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
