Minister to His Presence
Minister to His Presence
While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting… Acts 13:2
No matter who you are, the highest calling you have is to minister to the presence of Christ. When the small group of church leaders gathered for their prayer meeting in Antioch, it was not just any prayer meeting. They gathered explicitly to minister to the presence of Christ.
Most Christians are familiar with ministering for Christ. Many Christians, however, are not familiar with ministering to Christ. The early disciples made it their habit to minister to Christ’s presence. While Christ was no longer physically present with them, His manifest presence was nonetheless with them.
Because these disciples knew their highest calling was to minister to Christ, God could entrust them with their secondary assignment, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul.”
Once you learn that ministering to Christ is your primary assignment, He will share with you, too, your secondary assignment.
Father God, today I repent. I return to my highest calling, to minister to Your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Nauru and Montana.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
