Fullness Precedes Fulfillment

Fullness Precedes Fulfillment

I will send him to you. And … he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. John 16:7-8

Fullness (God’s work in us) always preceded fulfillment (God’s work through us). Before God extends His work through us, He first establishes His work in us.

When Christ was preparing His disciples for His departure, He taught them extensively on both the in-working (fullness) and the through-working (fulfillment) of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, the Holy Spirit would convict the world of sin and righteousness and judgment, but Christ does not send the Holy Spirit to the world. He sends the Holy Spirit to the church. And when the Holy Spirit works dynamically in the church, then the presence of the Holy Spirit in the church will convince the world of its need for Christ.

This is the fullness and fulfillment principle.

Father God, send to me and my church the Holy Spirit in fullness. Then fulfill Your purpose through your church of convicting our neighbors of sin and righteousness and judgement, in Jesus’ Name.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for San Marino and South Dakota.

This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
