Gifts and Calling

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29

You will be fulfilling your God-giving calling not only for time but for eternity.

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter that was masterpiece to the church in Rome. In it he identified the eternal nature of God’s purposes for every one of us. He clarified that our calling and the gifts God has given us are not only inseparably linked, they are eternal.

For all eternity, you and I have the privilege of fulfilling our God-given calling. What brings you ultimate fulfillment on earth today will also bring you ultimate fulfillment in heaven.

Because your calling is in Christ, the better you get to know Christ, the better you get to know your calling. If you can’t figure it all out today, you will have all eternity to get it right.

Father God, open my eyes to my irrevocable calling, that I might step into it today and every day, in Jesus’ Name.
