High Worship
High Worship
I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up. Isaiah 6:1
There are normally five elements to an encounter with Christ. The first element is high worship.
When Isaiah encountered the manifest presence of Christ, he was awestruck. Overwhelmed. He saw the Lord, “high and lifted up.” He felt the threshold of the temple shake, and he heard the angels calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” This is a significant example of high worship.
Every encounter we have with the manifest presence of Christ will certainly not always be this dramatic. You may not feel the earth shake. You may not see angels. Encountering the manifest presence of Christ does, however, normally lead us into high worship.
High worship is a one of the hallmarks of encountering Christ.
Father God, today I declare the awesome reality of Your manifest presence. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts. The whole earth is full of Your glory.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Micronesia and Montana.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
