Commandment With Promise

Commandment With Promise

“‘Honor your father and mother’ (this is the first commandment with a promise).” Ephesians 6:2

Some God-promises come disguised as commands. When God said, honor your father and mother, he explicitly included a promise of blessing— “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land” (Ephesians 6:3).

God wants you to know that the place of obedience is always the place of blessing, because God is good and his will is good. There is a collateral benefit to every step of obedience, but this call to honor father and mother promises an explicit blessing.
Regardless of how imperfect your dad and mom may have been, today is a good day to speak a blessing over them.

Loving Father, I declare a blessing over my dad and mom…(use your own words) in Jesus’ name.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Lithuania and Nebraska.
